Not usually I think. I had my interview on a Thursday and got the notification the couriers had received my passport the following day, but I didn't get my passport until the following Monday.

FWIW I paid the extra GBP5 or so for the expedited courier service, and I had the email saying the passport had been handed over to the courier the day after my interview and had my passport back on...
