Part of the problem with the Caymans is the islands small physical size....people who you have dealt with during a day shift can bump in to you that evening when your off-duty & out with your family,...

I think you would honestly be taking a step backwards if you joined the RCIPS
If you wait till Dec 2010 I am reliably informed thst South Australia Police are recruiting UK police...

Hi there AliBarber,
The contract basically says that I am initially only given a 2 year contract...During the initial 2 years I have to impress them to gain another contract, and I can only stay on...

Hi Guys,
Before any of you committ to the RCIPS I seriously suggest you contact snip and speak to him. He has worked out there and offer you some excellent advice. I will not be leaving the UK...

I've just had a very interesting chat with a former RCIPS cop who left the police in the UK and transferred to the Caymas....without going in to a load of detail I wont be accepting their job offer...

Hi there,
I am a UK police officer with 15 years se4rvice and a specialist firearms officer. In May 2010 I applied for a job with the RCIPS and was recently interviewed over the phone (strange!)....
