That sounds appalling. I hope you are feeling better.
There was an article on the BBC America website from Northern Ireland stating how people use the 999 number for silly, non emergency reasons....

I have twice been taken by ambulance to the ER before I was on Medicare within the past ten years and was never asked for insurance information which we had and I was never billed either.

Dunroving is the real deal and I have " known" him on a couple of other forums since I joined he is educated, kind and very helpful...and loves dogs :-)

Here in Dallas it is 1500 or a porcelain crown and 1500 for a root canal. I don't have insurance either.
