Yes, the stupid storm hit us too. I found myself moving a car in lightning strikes which looked like paparazzi flash bulbs.

Very thankful for the rain though which has cooled things down....

I had to go out to put petrol in the car earlier. It was like walking in the way of a fan heater which wouldn't turn off.

It's the second day in a row where it is too hot when you go to bed and too hot when you wake up in the morning.

It's muggy.

Just checked the thermometer in the pergola.

38 degrees celcius in the shade. (100.4 farenheit).

It's too hot.

Trying to kid self am on tropical island holiday.

Briefly wonder at merits of climbing into cold shower to do the ironing.

Decide holiday wouldn't end well.
