In NS we have 'Petes Frootique' which sells a good variety of cheese, it's gorgeous but expensive!

I'm not posh either and I do pronounce alot of words the 'quick way', but I do say 'herbs'.

I've never used 'proper English' but I have to say that since I've moved to Canada, I find myself...

Just want to say I actually do love my house, it is very unique and I love living in it. I simply stated that houses, here in NS anyway, are not built very well and they rot. We have to replace all...

No I don't know how houses are built all over Canada but here in NS the exterior does not last very long before...

many people I know in NS have made repairs to their houses as they have just rotted!
I don't know what it's like for rest of Canada.

True, but we have lived in our house 3 years and the wood siding down one side has rotten like crazy so we have to have it replaced! When it rains we have a river flowing through our kitchen and into...

Houses are very poorly built here and cannot withstand the brutal winters. Surely in a Country that has such extreme weather, they should build with brick :blink:

I also don't like how tax isn't...

I was just saying this to OH yesterday. When you let people come out infront of you, they don't acknowledge and wave 'thanks' like they do in UK.
