That is why I hope he won't be disappointed. There was a reason why he left the UK in the first place - those reasons are probably still valid but in the time he has been away the country has moved...

It is not just the UK coming out of recession and I think Canada wasn't as badly affected by it as the UK was. It sounds like Canada isn't the place for you any more and it is time to head 'home' ...

I'm sorry things haven't worked out for you. What do you think the future holds for you - will you be staying here. Friends and family back in the UK tell us constantly that we did the right thing...

Thanks iaink. We've been messed around workwise since we came here too. OH is on fourth job and we've been on EI. We're not bitter or hold it against the country. It's not been easy at times but...

The rose coloured glasses are long gone and we now see the county for what it is, warts and all - it sure isn't perfect but we wouldn't want to be anywhere else.

That was the impression we always left with when we were on holiday. In reality it is not quite like that. There is litter, vandalism and doped up junkies it just depends where you look. It seems...
