Cooking bacon in oil? Try nuking it in the microwave so it comes out dry and crisp. Yes, five years is a while, but one thing this immigration lark has taught me is never to say never!:D

Not in the least -- I thought so, too, which is why I'd bookmarked it!

I never met a bacon recipe I didn't like (well, perhaps a few!). How about this one for a Yorkshire pud with bacon? ...
