I went and looked at the new checklist, and it does say that originals will not be returned. But this is not the case for the checklist when we submitted our application in November 2010.

It took my OH 7 weeks to get his passport back to Nova Scotia after it had been received in London.

Try using the sponsor's contact information with the receipt number. If it's in the system that should work.

You have 45 days from the passport request email/letter to get it to london.

The fastest shipping I could get for my OH took from Halifax to London took 5 days and cost approx. $56 dollars with...

I'm going on week 7 without getting the passport back... It arrived in London on March 21, 2011.

We're not sure at the moment as we have a trip planned to Scotland in June and with the price of gas at the moment it's not a short or cheap trip.

Same with me, Canada Post said they received my OH's passport on March 21st, and so far we have no responses to the emails I sent (from his email address) asking for the tracking number. I sent one...

Just to make sure you are doing it correctly, in ECAS you use the receipt number and the Sponor's Details.

Also, I don't think people are getting emails for the first stage,...

Hopefully someone else can verify but I thought that with Spousal and Children PR applications you can not be denied a visa due to medical issues.

I just checked the Sponorship Part of my application and Ecas says there was a decision made on December 14th and a letter sent!

Hopefully I will hear what the decision is soon! :) *crosses...
