Hoping not to offend.... but nah, small towns in the east coast in fife i.e. Glenrothes / kirkcaldy / dunfermline...

To me just seem riddled with the same crap as in the west. run down, tired...

My wife and I could get ourselves a nice house in a decent enough area (well nothing massive but better than the damp ridden council hole I grew up in)

I have said, or tried to explain something similar in previous posts , but was jumped on for sounding naive. In a nutshell, the move IS for my wife and I, but its also for our kids upbringing...

Suppose Im not as gung-ho as I was before the kids came along, but yep. The driving force if im honest is the part of me that feels "I can get / do better than this"
