But in the UK a BUPA policy won't set you back $12,000 a year for the privilidge if you wanted private treatment.

yeah it was.

But I feel that the media were comparing it to a hospital in the private sector.

Hospitals in the private sector remind me of the Marriot hotel.

Walter Reed is a hospital...

Having had the privilidge of a tour at Walter Reed Hospital by a resident physician last year I assure you it is top class.

I think that's more to do with the time allowed by the welfare office to find a job.

We got out of the last recession by consumer driven credit.

I don't know if you've noticed, but we won't be using credit to get out of this one.

when you compare the USA to Haiti, Sudan, Angola, etc etc it's not a hard comparison.

when you compare the USA to Australia, UK, Canada, France etc etc..... it's all semantics.
