Yes she lives with us but she's not fiscally connected to us , she's being registered as a pensioner living abroad but fiscally independently not as a relative.

I've registered my 83 year old mother at the ASL and they've told me that she could be excempt for paying for anylysis, tickets, medicine etc. if her income is below €36,000 gross per year.

Thanks for all your help, it's been really useful. We'll keep this Italian address for her bank account as my mother will be permanently living here but we'll register her in 2018 in Italy to help...

Hi another question please. My mother has a Halifax savings and current account in the UK.I've done a change of address to here in Italy as they said it was fine however perhaps it would have been...

She came at the end of October this year. That sounds good advice, I wasn't sure about income tax and also I presume her attandance allowance will end.
