re: Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London & Inland

If you apply via snail mail rather than online then that will give you extra time. Your husband will have implied status as a visitor if his IEC expires before you hear back RE: change of status. I...

re: Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London & Inland

I have been the innocent victim of a CIC cock up before.. only mine was my 2nd IEC and so it was the London consulate who did it, not Mississauga. It still managed to put me but a few months though....

re: Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London & Inland

Did you choose London as the office you wished for it to be processed in? Maybe it is just a mistake they have made?

re: Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London & Inland

It says the Tuesday thing on the ECAS page before the one where you log in, that's where I got it from. I used it as a way to stop me from obsessively looking every day (it may or may not have...

re: Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London & Inland

Tomorrow is 6 weeks since I landed, and as I was told my PR card would take 4-6 weeks I was thinking about giving CIC a call.. but then I went online and saw that new PR's are now taking 3 months (92...

re: Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London & Inland

Sounds like you got a bit of numpty then! Send in a complaint. I guess it all depends on the officer and maybe even the crossing you use, with some crossings seeing PR Landings more often than...

re: Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London & Inland

Yeah goods to follow etc was never mentioned to me either. I assumed that as he could see from my visitor record/previous work permits that I had been in Canada for a few years now that I didn't have...

re: Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London & Inland

Well finally! Congratulations on the COPR and landing :)

Sucks about it being delivered to the wrong address.. I am guessing that was a Canada Post f*** up?

re: Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London & Inland

re: Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London & Inland

Have you tried just randomly checking at your local post office to make sure it hasn't been left there without a delivery note being left?

Fingers crossed for you!

re: Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London & Inland
