Spouses/Partners coming in from most of the Asian Countries have to pass a clearance Xray for TB, before entering the UK. (Phillipines, Burma, Thailand, etc.,)

Since my wife is earning only £6.08 (the rest goes, I presume to the (Tory)Employing Agent, through which most employment is done) - perhaps these are necessary for only a single person, living alone?
