Actually good point, after living and working in multicultural TO for 8 years most of the people I've met and the friends I've made were not born and raised in Canada.

I think it's mostly down to architecture.

Looking out of my office window here in NE Toronto I have to say the multitude of buildings I can see look drab, boring and purely functional.

Why the emphasis on travelling anyway, does it give you extra kudos or bragging rights to be able to reel off a list of exotic locations you've visited? It's a bit like the page on FB where you can...
