not really surprised if this is happening and I do get the argument that it makes little sense for the agent to hold out for a few extra dirhams commission, but it is in their interest to avoid...

The rental calculator seems to have gone missing in the recent upgrade to the Land Department website. I've spent 10 minutes looking, but no luck. If any of you guys find it please post the URL.

That would be too logical wouldn't it? A copy of the eviction notice is lodged with RERA at the same time as delivered to tenant and boom there is a block on new rental agreements being registered...

According to one of Mike's earlier posts the recourse is reserved for the cases where the LL claimed he or his family of first degree was moving into the property. If this is the case I can see this...

The issue for tenants is that there is actually no need for a clause in the contract regardless.

All the landlord needs to do is send you a letter by registered post a couple of days after you...
