People saying "Let me get x, y,. z. " at service counters. As if someone is preventing them from getting it. I believe they think it's more polite form than saying "Give me x yz"

Well I'm sure you care when you ask. Maybe it's just me, but I find that question "are you OK" to be annoying because I don't get that sense of concern or a genuine desire to help from it.

Because they say "give me a pound", or give me this give me that. After so many years being here I still find it extremely annoying, self-entitlement, rude etc, but that's what they're used to.
