Our youngest have citizenship cards, but travel on British passports - we have never been asked for the cards, even when we landed. We may need them for school, but you have plenty of time before...

Our letter took ages to come through - 10th Nov and we got the letter early december!!!! We fretted for weeks, and tried to contact them, but could not get any info whatsoever - we just had to sit...

Hi

With the spousal applications everyone dpes the checks beforehand - but the time it takes can be up to 8 months average (last time I checked anyway).

Mine took from being approved as sponsor...

When they checked out my daughter they "heard" a heart murmur. We had to get her seen by a specialist which we accessed through or GP and she was given the all clear.

Has he been for any further...

usually only online after they process it, so around the time they send you your letter/email.

I always accessed it using sponsors name and receipt number.

Yes, it is stage 1 that takes 68 days - which is approval of sponsor in Mississauga - so you have started the countdown!!

I only ever managed to check mine by using sponsors name and the receipt number - when we got the sponsor approval letter, we could also use that number - I don't think I ever managed to log in using...

ECAS is very hit and miss. You need to assume that if it is all in order it will be waiting for someone in London to pick it up - some get updated quickly - and some extremely slowly. It is just so...

Thats great news. CIC use email and letters - luck of the draw really! I got my letter from Mississauga, and an email from London when mine was processed - others at the time were opposite way round....

We had a letter - according to ECAS it was sent out on the 10th Nov - we waited anxiously until December when we received a letter dated the end of November - don't know why. In the meantime we made...

Are you both in the UK? OH (sponsor) has been in the UK since 2005 so did not have an option C........We did not provide anything financial apart from one of the forms which asked where OH worked and...

If you are going spousal route then you do not have to have any proof of savings or earnings or Option C - especially with NO dependants. We have 2 children (canadian) and 1 child (on PR application)...
