You are allowed to travel - if vaccinated you don't need to quarantine (provided you have negative tests) - but because your child isn't vaccinated, you should check the requirements..

Do you reside in the US? The 9th August exemption mainly applies to fully vaccinated who are coming from the US....

What status do you have to be able to enter Canada? Do you have a work or study permit, or are you a Permanent Resident or any of the other exemptions for travel? Only specific people are allowed in...

I believe because you will need to have the NHS confirmation of vaccination, if you reside in the UK - if you don't have it, you'll reveal that you are not resident in the UK.

Which one has the batch number, the manufacturer of vaccine, date of expiry and the date given, (official stamp, if any) etc., on it?

Don't forget you are still requred to have a quarantine plan ready to show... 'just in case' - even if not needed. :)...

Canadian Citizens have always been able to enter Canada - 'come home'.......... quarantine regardless.

At least going by road you wouldn't have to quarantine in a hotel on return.. the not knowing about getting back in would be enough to put me off the idea as well.. :D
