When it goes to seed-which it does very quickly just save theseeds and grow again the following year.

It is indeed a daikon otherwise called Chinese radish. I believe it's rather bland and recipes that call for it say that it won't make any difference to some dishes if you can't lay your hands on...

I love Crodino and chunky rind from marmalade is perfect in a bacon bits & potato salad
Genziana is a different animal and absolutely awful

Todis "in-house" butcher sell belly pork by the slab. It's wonderful especially when you can get a piece with the skin on (sometimes they take it off) for crackling. The butcher could not understand...

I spent ages today making 28 little puff pastry parcels of camembert and all I ended up with were bags of pastry and melted cheese all over the baking tray :(

Beans are good!
But.. personally I have a major addiction (30 years and more) for Sun Pat peanut butter and get through a large jar at least monthly. Is there a source anywhere in Abruzzo?
