Hi wildest, I could be wrong but I think a E3D is tied to a E3 which in turn is tied to a particular employer so I would think that your E3D becomes invalid the moment your wife's E3 is cancelled.

Long story short, this is infact an alteration (end date) to existing EAD going on from Jan this year ... the request was lost once and then a little back and forth on required documentation...

Hi Ian, Absolutely reasonable question. If I had to work in a different country I would require relevant work visa (where applicable) and from what my HR tells me this is not necessarily a big deal...
