Agree to a degree. Sydney harbour is very nice (even better if you can afford to live on, or near, it) but the CBD is ordinary and much of its suburbia (inner and outer) is downright grim. Why anyone...

Many goods and services cheaper than the UK

Incomes and disposable incomes are higher than the UK

Purchasing power also higher
