I had a look this week, and couldn't see any back bacon in my local store either. I'll keep checking, maybe it's just a temporary thing.

I think I saw it in my local store last week, so you might have just been unlucky. I'll check next time I go, I don't buy it, I'm one of the few people who prefers American bacon :yield:

Maybe they were in Walmart in California, they didn't sell any food, on the one occasion I went in.

Surprised to come across Thornton's Chocolates in CVS yesterday, they were on sale too:thumbup:. They also had a huge stack of them in TJ Maxx Homegoods.

Can't help with the sausages, that's the big thing I miss too. Fresh and Easy sell Robinson's squash at a good price though.

I spotted some Golden Syrup in the little cheese store near us. That's definately a first. We always had a tin in when I lived at home and my Dad used to have it on toast :sick: Not sure what...

My daughter keeps making me laugh. Every store we go in, she sees them, grabs one, reads frantically, and then throws it down in disgust and stomps off:lol: There are some in a parcel winging there...

Fresh and Easy have started to sell their own brand organic potato chips (as they call them.) They are as close to Walkers as anything I have had here, very lovely:D

The sausage in them is really good, like real sausages:) Have you asked on their Facebook page, they are very good at answering questions posted on there.
