Yep I contacted them in Nov 2010 i.e. After 13 months of CO allocation, and told them that my security checks are taking too long. Why is that? I got the following reply.

Nope I got my CO in Oct 2009 and all these queries regarding my form 80 ended on 25th Nov 2009. Since then, I heard nothing except for this URGENT marked email. I think its of no use to submit PLE...

Yep i did receive such an email after almost a year of submitting form 80. In the subject line there was "URGENT - please provide status update". They asked me some three times bout various things...

I got this so called "Urgent" email 9 months back. It doesn't mean one is out of the long queue.
