Citizenship is forever. It means you can come and go as you please for the rest of your life. Permanent visas do not mean that in effect, they have a travel right attached to them, that only lasts...

Whilst you might regret the move, I would definitely recommend you get citizenship anyway to give you more flexibility in the future.
