It doesn't work like that and don't let anyone tell you that it does. You cannot just apply for PR because you have done a certain length of time on a 457. However if you have done 2 years on a 457...

The employer PR isn't your only option, of course you could continue to run your business in the UK and wait for the 163 visa. My concern was just about possibly shooting yourself in the foot by...

I would be very cautious about this plan. To get a business visa you have to have a track record of running a successful business, not just a desire to start running a business. If you are on a 457...
