A family friend of ours of some age ( over 70 ) was up in the roof space clearing the snow before it melted & caused such damage. The wind was very bad.

Wonderful - for a quite normal house in the UK that bill could be 660,000HUF - ok payable in 10 equal installments !

This snow can be very difficult for older people who feel isolated as they fear going out & about. Role on spring time.

We are in UK but for some reason my mobile phone will give me weather...

Would love to be snowed in on the top of the hill with a good supply of logs & a freezer full of food - a telly, a book & some bottles of booze - what a wonderful rest that would be!
