My sponsor was with me and he was asked something by immigration but I'm not sure he had to be there...hopefully someone with more knowledge will come answer your question.

All my personal items were returned with no letters or info too, I got my decision made about 4 weeks later as I recall so I don't think it's all that telling. Having said that...

No, sometimes they will return passport photos to you with your personal documents (this is what happened for me) and sometimes they will send you a letter rather than an email with the photos in it....

That is the number you need but you won't be able to check until you've been approved sponsorship.

I just got my passport back with my shiny new PR Visa in it!!!! Ahhh :) It was less than 20 days...

Inland means that you have applied within Canada and through Canada. Outland means you have applied through your country of residence (which can be done either in or outside of Canada).

They got mine on the 16th Aug, I think there is a thread somewhere detailing timelines. I wouldn't expect it back anytime soon as it takes 2 weeks when you drop it in yourself and pick it up!...

They did the same to me Londonottawa, don't worry, all my photos came back with no note or anything about 3 weeks (I think) before I got my PR, it could have been a bit longer though...Don't worry...

Only a couple of people have been processed in 2 weeks and those people often have been in a relationship with their other halves for a long time, (more than 2 years typically) and may also have kids...
