I'm suprised, this was a psycholgical barrier for me too.. Perhaps the UK (apart from you lot) doesn't really care about the AUD? I've not zoomed in, but did the GBP wobble against any of the other...

Who are you paying $1.95 to, are we talking A$/GBP??
XE currently has the A$ buying GBP at 1.88, from memory they transfer at spot rate plus 0.5% (must look up my spreadsheets).. no where near 1.95....
