york or manchester? Manchester I was last there about 2.5 years ago and york about 5 years ago or so.

manchester has never really impressed me, nor leeds for that matter. And people say vancouver...

depends where - the north west has terrible weather. It reminds of vancouver in the winter - but summers aren't much better. We used to say in Manchester, "summer was on a wednesday last year." But...
