THIS is the only way to look at it - moving to Canada as a get rich quick scheme is for dreamers and usually the ones who end up back on the plane heading home prematurely, as Dusty says, life here...

It has been a bit of a joke really but the guys who`ve been sent out there to cover the services aren`t complaining, they get paid their normal rate and put up in digs so its just like a working...

It was closed at Carbery according to the police we spoke to at Virden but they wouldn't say why, Timmy's at Virden got some hammer lol

Yeah, we were told its a 6% top up on our wage and we get 3 weeks vacation straight away :thumbsup:

We get paid holidays but its like agency work in the UK where you get paid a percentage on top of your take home pay to cover holidays and its basically up to you to bank it to pay you while off

Won't affect us mate cos we will be doing Calgary and Edmonton runs which are 2 day runs anyway so we won't have the need to get anywhere and back in the same shift and I'll be working mon - fri on...

Pikes don't go all the way to Winnipeg mate, switches are done at headingley from what I'm told but not got on the road yet, test next week :-)

Possible if you hammer the hours mick from what we`ve been told, what you have to understand is its not just the miles we`re getting paid but all the other stuff on top too
