Exactly. If we were to go now we would have 4 adult fares (say....2K? each) and one at 70%...just isnt doable :(

I think these results grossly unfair as a public school lets any child stay until year 12,...

We put an offer in on 2 acres and a dooer upper in Clematis last week, We were the second highest offer of four put in on the day it went onto the market and they accepted the offer 10K over...

Theres been a station propsed for Lakeside for an eternity, but still cant see it yet. Öfficer South" is the new buzz, its basically the flat part of Officer between the Princes and the Monash....

Yeah I'm the same, i like SOME slope and SOME bush but not too much of each. Macclesfield is just a bit too far out, Avonsleigh is pushing it... its also very treey in parts too.... *sigh*

Theres 17 acres in officer with views to the bay, but its a fair slope AND its fully bush so land works would be hideous.

If you go past pakenham say to Maryknoll its beautiful, rollling hills and...

I know I'm Berwick ;) I'm nearer to my lovely Harkaway than Narre, but FG is my local shops and have never felt unsafe there, just a feel bit lucky sometimes ;) :D

LOL....Badge hates suburbia and especially Narre for some reason. Sure theres a few ferals around but I have lived around here for 7 years and never seen a knife or car jacking....:thumbup:

Its Toorak compared to parts of Cranbourne, Noble park or Doveton. Seriously, Narre a shit hole? Nah.....older and suburban, but its not that bad!

Yes, you can survive on one wage, but you need to cut your cloth accordingly and not be sucked in to the whole wants verses needs scenario untill you find you feet ;):)

I didn't say that their opinions didn't count. All I said is that its a generalised statement. I too have a decent size family who are Aussie, with kids and well educated.

It depends on the need.
Our son had a senco and 5 hour statement weekly. He also has two hours OT a week and 1/2 termly intervention from a school OT. Here he gets nothing as there is a very grey...

I don't agree with this extremely generalized statement. If your child has learning difficulties state schools have far more funding to be able to cope, likewise state schools have far more...

Surely it depends on the Aussie? I know plenty of them, born and bred who live where I do. In fact us, my Mum and one other family are the only poms in our community.

The nearest hospital in in Berwick, but for critical care you would probably have to go to Dandenong (good luck with that!) or Clayton (the Monash)

Pakenham is cheaper, but overpriced for the area...

Just thought i'd say hi.

We've lived here on the S/E fringes (near Berwick) for 3 and 1/2 years now (jesus, thats gone quick!) and really love the area we live in.

The past year has been tough...
