Hardly explains why other countries outside of perhaps NZ, can build houses that are more lasting and not either poorly built macmansions or garden sheds though......and at a highly inflated...

Only in as much as protecting and encouraging banks with low interest rates and guarantees (too big to fail indeed)which enabled fiancé/real estate industry to continue their game for so long.
