That's fine, just as long as you know it's not a shortcut, in any meaninfgful sense, to obtaining US citizenship. :)

But given that your "right to apply for citizenship clock" started running from when you first got approved for permanent residence/ your greeen card, then if you have to have had the "conditions"...

It does? I thought I had heard it was currently about 12 months, which is a lot longer than it used to be - I think mine was weeks, not months, but that was in 2003. .... I would assume that the 18...
