Have you looked into what's involved in getting work in that trade? Does he need certification here and how will he have to go about getting it. He may not want to have to sit exams and study again. ...

Sephora in Canada doesn't sell Chanel or Shisheido. Can you cope with that? Do you know why it closed in the UK? There used to be one in Milton Keynes and I seem to remember that at the time it was...

That anyone needs to say that because of their job they have topshelf healthcare rather shows that Canada has a crap system where you need a full time job to get benefits and to access those extras...

I didn't say that my situation did apply to everyone. Nor do I assume it does. It is more likely to apply to a new immigrant though.

You'll only get a better life if you can get work. That's not so easy these days. You said your husband's job is on the list which is good, but does he need to requalify etc to work here and if so...
