I never understand why they say the photos for Aussie passports are different, I just got the one photo and put it on my 3 passports, Aussie, Irish and UK, all of them accepted it without problem and...

You get your old passport back so can have that with you or just contact the Australian embassy to get your new passport number on file

I never under stand this, they always say (and the forms also say it) that UK photos for the passport are very different for the Australian one, Irish passport forms also say this.
