The time limit for getting a license after becoming a resident is only if you are driving on a license from out of state/country If you aren't driving they can't make you get a license in 10 or 30...

Ds did his in 2010 and he was gone about 20 minutes some of that was time spent checking the car out. He said they didn't go far, went through the traffic lights to a 4 way...

If you are over 18 you can just go in the DMV take the written test, get your permit, learn with someone over 21 (or is it 23 I forget) then go back and take the behind the wheel test. No...

Yeah I don't think you get how different it is here.
It's a whole new world, nothing like UK. All the kids activities cost a bundle, where we are public transportation is non existent, We have one...

£68,000 would be about $110,000 in my mind not enough for a software developer in Santa Monica or to live a comfortable life in a rented 3 bed house.
