Question:

The one year rule, how hard and fast is that? I am in a terrible situation where i am a week short of one year in my previous job, in our London office.

My wife went to USA for the weekend- activated her visa and sent off application for EAD. There is absolutely no reason why a dependent on E3D cannot enter country first – this now been established....

Sorry - i did read her post , and she made a good point. So we rang the Embassy twice and they gave two conflicting views. We also rang USICS 4 times now, and every question has been answered...

This is a bit of a nightmare - what supporting documents do you need?

What is the copy of last EAD ? Or Copy of Federal Government issued...

My wife went in today to get E3D. Again - Long wait at Embassy in London.

No questions infact the lady said "saw your husband yesterday", do you have marriage certificate? Yes - great you are...

This is what we are thinking about. Flying Donna (my wife) over to US for a few days next week. Organising I765 , have no idea why she needs to be in the US to send this application, and no Biometric...

My experience;

After getting all my paper work together, bachelors / mba , US equivalency , DS156, LCA, job letters, job offer , why my job is a speciality job etc

It was all very disappointing...

My partner has been offered a very good job in US, and is on E3D, how long does the I 765 take, is there anyway to speed this up, can she work with out it?
