Paid by debit card, not covered at all - bank give nothing back.... if had used credit card it would have been insured.....

not really,

Gas is half what we pay here so would be a welcome relief to go on a long journey and not pay through the nose and you can get unlimited miles too.

And the journey can be done over...

though regarding proof of funds. If you have a job offer you do not need to have proof of funds as shown...

I would say start the new job during the interim period. I am sure a short explanation in the covering letter would be far better than the possibility that his "pig of a boss" could make...

Basically a remote office really, company operates outside of the country where the satalite office is....
