Just got a letter from the department of labour yesterday, my residence permit has been allocated to the immigration officer and a decision should be made by 25th of May 2009 at least.

hi guys,

I`ve applied for a work permit almost 1.5 months ago under partnership policy and i`ve called the immigration 2 days ago and they`ve told me that my application has not been allocated yet...

No i`m applying for a work permit under the partnership policy, and i reckon i don`t have to have job offer or anything. And i`m applying for a work permit which i consider that i`m already in NZ and...

i`ve called them again yesterday and they told me the same thing "apply for a work permit and at the same time apply for a residency cuz residency takes up to 12 months..." This is totally different...

i reckon unlimited broadband is not really common in NZ, everyone is using limited, even the companies are offering you limited connection deals all the time! Weird... all i need is an unlimited...
