Re: Work permit for dependant

Thanks Shirtback for the response. I agree that it may be simpler if she comes on here herself to provide relevant details; however, English is not her first language so I am just trying to assist. ...

Re: Work permit for dependant

Ok, sounds good. What if she had applied for her provincial nominee in another province. I read somewhere that if you are waiting on a decision on a provincial nominee application, then you can...

Re: Work permit for dependant

Also, if her current employer agrees to apply for a work permit for her, would that be possible? Would she still have to wait on her husband finding a qualifying job?

Re: Visitor Visa Extension or Visitor Visa (from in Canada)

Anther slight twist to my case which I did not mention earlier as I did not think that it was worth mentioning, but I do not want to make any foolish errors that I'd end up regretting.

I...

Re: Visitor Visa Extension or Visitor Visa (from in Canada)

Thank you so much. The reason that her entry permit was not the same length as her OWP was because she was at school here and I later applied for her PR (as my spouse). They then issued her an OWP...

Re: Visitor Visa Extension or Visitor Visa (from in Canada)

Snowy, can you tell me why it is only giving me the option to apply for TRV made outside of Canada? I would have expected within Canada since she is here.

Re: Visitor Visa Extension or Visitor Visa (from in Canada)

Thank you Snowy. So in this case, I should follow Siouxie's advice? Should I apply for the TRV and purpose of visit is work - as Siouxie recommended above?

Thanks!
