Yep, Mums here have warned me that missing a practice usually means the kid is dropped from the team. And why do they have to have trials for the school teams during the summer vacation? Couldn't...

What's the deal with head lice over here? Are they particularly nastier than the Brit ones or are the locals just paranoid? I hear that kids are excluded from school until they are clear and families...
