well regarding UK utility costs - central heating oil is now 52p/litre (ouch!) , luckily the sun has come out and heating is now turned off..

both gas and electricity has gone up considerably as...

karmonius the utility bills here in the UK are currently astronomical and some of us still live in cold houses here.. saying that if we ever make it to NZ we will be trying...

well some things are becoming global, the Uk housing market is not as it was and the cost of living is rocketing everywhere - £1.20/ litre to put diesel in my car yesterday and everyone's food...

I believe it gets cold in the winters, frosts too, so I advise you take the full range of clothing, also most NZ houses have no heating..

well a long recce trip around NZ would be the first thing to do then we'd decide either NZ or the SW of UK - Devon/Dorset/Cornwall....
