I'm doing the study to PR option...once you have a nz qualification and with a job offer in your field of study..along with other options needed in the points system.you can apply...

short lets seem to cost around $100/night..is this the average? weekly might be cheaper i'm thinking...saw one for $665 for a week...fully furnished one bed apartment in the city...is this too...

welcome to the forum...we r in the same boat as you...we'll be in chch in june too!!

now we r in dubai...we have been looking at rentals but was advised to do a motel or short let...

i know this might sound daft but is it compulsory to have a credit card out there for car rentals and other stuff?...we might need to get one i guess for a car rental...( dont believe in credit...

i'll be on a 2 year student visa...and hence hubby gets to be a dependent which means he comes with a work permit...i have had mine issued and have send off OH's passport now for the seal or stamp or...

thank you all for the info...as OH is coming as a dependent..he will be on a work visa..it just bothered me a bit when several agencies said they couldnt get him a job without a work permit!:curse:

let me introduce myself! we are from london..now in dubai( was born and brought up in abudhabi)...i'm 28 and OH is 30..its just the 2 of us:).. have been watching the forum for a long time...
