Someone mentioned setting up a bank account too. My wife actually has one in Wisconsin and I wonder how they might view that in relation to her fathers address in Missouri if it is needed.

We may need to do this too. We have used my wifes fathers address in Missouri. Is there anything else that needs to be done to prove that it is a 'bona fide domecile?

We're in the same situation. We've reduced our property price so much now that with the weakening exchange rate the money we need to live on for the first year or so has dissapeared.

We dont have kids and are used to moving to new places and countries.

Use www.Kayak.co.uk to see the best routes and priices. Ryanair into Luton or Stansted would be my advice. Probably the cheapest and there are fast links into London. Avoid Heathrow unless you like...
