Health insurance for visiting parents?

Hi, anybody know a good (and cheap!) insurance provider for visiting parents from the UK? Dad has pre exisiting health problems including heart disease and diabetes.

I'm a medic, so I think because I fall under H1b cap exemption, its slightly different as regards when you can start.

Hi folks

Appreciate thoughts on this.

Got an H1b visa, (cap exempt).

Went for Interview to Dublin with my wife and 2 kids (London at that point had a 40d wait for visa interview)

I guess its unlikely, especially if you are going to actually pay the tax. It may be different if you just walked away!

Yeah Ozziedoc, I think you are right.

I spoke to my attorney today and he said if you can prove mandatory induction, then usuallythe immigration folks are ok about it and may let you in up to 2...

Ian-thanks for the info. Some of these visa issues are really confusing!

You are always worried about getting into some sort of hassle with the authorities!

I also have 2 kids so looking for decent schooling.

I' ve heard downtown is rough so probably want to avoid...

Can you use a visa waiver to go over for a job interview or to sit exams?
