A friend of ours is doing the Camino de Santiago in June, some of thats not too hilly, if you pick your section carefully.... so you could always think about that, maybe get sponsored for it...

We've had a couple of viewings in the past 2 weeks, and a few email enquiries... not bad considering theres no agent involved at all.
Plus an offer, but a bit lower...

Very good idea - and exactly what we did, after we took a viewing trip to see hideous new build rabbit hutches crammed in alongside each other. We pumped the agent for as much info on living here...

At the end of the day if you buy then all you are doing is moving your equity pot of dosh to Spain....we bought 2 properties mortage free, 4 yrs ago now, one we are just selling and have made a small...

Theres a good hotel on the seafront in Altea, called San Miguel. It was 45 euros for a double room last year, and very good, basic but then you don't need much more.
I'd certainly advise above...

For rentals and jobs check out online newspapers as well, such as the Think Spain website, and Costa Blanca or Costa del sol news... depending on which area you're thinking of coming to.

See the post above yours..House of India in Albir (If you can travel to it) or theres one right on the seafront in Altea thats not too bad, I think called the Himalaya. Its just a little further up...

You should come up our way, Villajoyosa has a great one on the seafront, and theres another in Albir called the House Of India by the medieval castle on the old Benidorm/Albir road.
