Catching up after a few days absence. Our entry date is 21 June 2009. Not sure to what date in the process this relates, except that it is about 6 months later than I would have expected it to be....

To pay the second VAC I used 4XCC to tranfer enough dollars to my sons Australian bank and he then got a draft from his bank (5.40 AUSD) and sent it to perth with a covering letter I emailed to him....

All you out there waiting for visas may be interested to know that I have today received an email attaching the request for our second VAC payment.
The offer says a visa will be granted after 1 July...

We had not anticipated being able to go to Oz until July/August anyway, bearing in mind we have to sell up arrange for pets etc. so in some ways apart from the lack of certainty, the delay...
