thank you all for your help. I think we have a plan now, we are going to get married somewhere (like the US) and she comes to the UK as my wife. Then we will apply for the marriage visa for the US...

sorry just read my post again. the new plan is i visit her next month for a holiday and i get married, the following month she comes to england on a spouse visa as i heard these are really quick....
