You're missing the point...

I have NO status here the moment thanks to my previous lawyer. Immigration would have alot of questions with regards to how I got married here without a valid status...

This LMO business is nonsense

My working holiday permit runs out very soon here. I've appied within the designated 30 day period to CIC to ensure that whilst I'm waiting for my LMO, I'll at least be on implied status.

Thanks Rae. I assume the 2 years are from the day you receive PR then? So from applying to receiving PR is at worst case 18 months, then a further 2 years in the province?

That's what I thought, but could I still get my employer to apply for the LMO, then cancel it if its still in process should i find new employer willing to apply for an LMO?
