Hi, I live in Al Ain and love it here. Its like a smaller version of Abu Dhabi but without the coast and the humidity. Definitely doesnt feel as if you are living in the middle of the desert!...

You can get an IDP from main (or crown) post offices over the counter in the UK. You will need 2 passport size photos. I think its free (cant remember now)
